Description
3M™ Mercury Vapour, Organic Vapour, and Acid Gas Cartridge with P100 Particulate Filter is NIOSH-approved for protection against mercury vapour, chlorine, sulfur dioxide, organic vapour, and hydrogen sulfide. These cartridges are compatible with the 3M™ Half and Full Facepiece Respirators with a bayonet-style filter/cartridge connection or 3M™ Scott™ Facepieces with 3M™ Scott™ AV-632 Bayonet Adapter.
Designed to enhance field of view and comfort on the job the 3M™ Mercury Vapour, Organic Vapour, and Acid Gas Cartridge with P100 Particulate Filter features a low-profile and swept-back design. These cartridges are easy to install and are compatible with many 3M™ Half and Full Facepiece Respirators including the 3M™ Half Facepiece Reusable Respirators 6000, 6500/6500QL, and 7500 Series, and the 3M™ Full Facepiece Reusable Respirators 6000, FF-400, and 7800 Series, helping to reduce inventory needs. When used with 3M™ Scott™ AV-632 Bayonet Adapter, this cartridge can be used with 3M™ Scott™ AV-3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal Facepieces. The 3M™ Mercury Vapour, Organic Vapour, and Acid Gas Cartridge with P100 Particulate Filter helps provide respiratory protection from certain vapour and/or acid gas and particulate concentrations up to 10x the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepiece respirators and 50x the OSHA PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepiece respirators and are not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH). Change the 3M™ Mercury Vapour, Organic Vapour, and Acid Gas Cartridge with P100 Particulate Filter within 50 hours of exposure to mercury vapour, in accordance to your well-documented change-out schedule, or earlier if smell, taste, or irritation from contaminants is detected. Replace the cartridges if they become damaged or if breathing becomes difficult. If used in environments containing only oil aerosols, replace the cartridges after 40 hours of use or 30 days, whichever is first.
