Plan Ahead for Type 2 Head Protection
Ontario Regulation 112/26 takes effect July 1, 2027. On construction projects, workers exposed to side-impact hazards will need head protection meeting Type 2 under CSA Z94.1, Type II under ANSI Z89.1, or an equivalent standard. A chin strap or other retention system will also be required where conditions could dislodge the headwear.
Use your workplace hazard assessment and applicable safety requirements to choose the right protection. Planning now can help teams move toward compliant head protection while keeping company identification consistent.
Why Put Your Logo on Safety Gear?
Custom branding helps safety equipment do more than protect. It can support a consistent team identity, clearer recognition, and a more professional presence wherever the work happens.
